Migraine is a headache that can cause intense throbbing or pulsating pain on one side of the head. these migraine headache are often accompanied or associated with vomiting and an extreme sensitivity to light and sound. when migraine attack it can cause a significant pain for hours or even days. with my past experience with migraine, all i can think about is to, take a shower to refresh my body and then lie down in a dark quite place.
what causes migraine?
most people will say that migraine is a natural cause of the human body, or it an common thing that all people will experience. but do you really know why it happen? and it is possible not to experience migraine again?. according to expert migraine happen when the human circulatory system are not in function properly or in bad shape.
Human circulatory system:
- Consist of the heart and blood vessel
- it works closely with the central nervous system, respiratory and ekskretori
- it is healthy when - the heart can strongly and smoothly can pump the blood all around the body, the blood vessels are flexible, elastic and not blocked and the blood is not sticky or thick.
- to circulate blood that contains essential nutrients, oxygen and hormones.
- to get rid of the waste from the tissue.
- can affect other organs such as the liver, kidneys and reproductive system
- Cardiovascular disease (CVD) such as - hypertension, coronary heart disease, stroke and atherosclerosis (atherosclerosis is a disease of the arteries, when the fatty plaques grow on the walls inside, causing obstruction of the blood flow.)
so migraine are tightly related / linked to this system. when your circulatory system is not good, the blood flow to your head / brain are not smooth enough, the heart can't strongly pump the blood, the blood vessel to the brain / head is not flexible, blocked and the blood is sticky and thick, these CAN cause migraine. the blood bring Oxygen, water, nutrient, hormones and white blood to our entire body. when the brain had not enough of this, especially oxygen, headache happen, when the blood vessel to the brain / head blocked, headache happen. when your hear ringing or buzzing in the ear, you were actually hear the blood that going to through a blocked blood vessel. it makes the sound cause the way-through is narrow for the blood to get through. when this happen a lot, you need to be super concern, this can lead to stroke (cardiovascular disease).
other factors that cause migraine:
- Stress - individuals who are aggressive and time-conscious are more prone to hearts attack. Fear, anxiety, depression and STRESS can cause blood vessel to constrict. stress effected the body enzyme. without enzymes, toxic chemicals could build up in the body to dangerous level, or the energy-producing krebs cycle (a method of discribing the step involving in the chemical process of respiration) would not be able to produce adenosine triphosphate (ATP), which is the main fuel of the body produced from food that is eaten and digested.
- poor eating habit - 2 hours of eating junk / fast food, a healthy young person with normal endothelial function and no risk factor for atherosclerosis had an increased of fat level and their endothelial function deteriorated by 50%. Cooke, M.D., Ph, D.). we are actually begin depositing cholesterol on the walls of our arteries at about the age of 10 (saving your brain - Jeff Victoroff M.D.) and every year an average of 1% fat will accumulate in our blood vessel.

- Hypertension - High Blood Pressure.
you may have read possible triggers or things that may trigger migraine. but this may not happen if people have good and healthy circulatory system. that why they say "triggers do not always cause migraine, and avoiding triggers does not always prevent migraines", but it actually depend on people health. especially the circulatory system. if you want to know more about these triggers mention above you can always Google for it. (you may also find sign and symptoms of migraine). migraine can always happen even if you avoid triggers. I do believe it all back to its main causes, primary root cause. because why would we had that sign and symptoms? right?
key to prevent and treat migraine.
it is the best way not to use any drugs or pain killer to stop your headache. well it would be hard for the first try, because of migraine pain are painful. it is best to do it in natural way, so that it would not harm your future health.
- balance diet and eat at the right time - a balance diet can maintain the human health. including the human circulatory health system.
